Portsmouth Beer Festival is back for 2017!
Excitement is building for the next hosting of the Portsmouth Beer Festival back for it’s fourth year at Portsmouth Guildhall.
Beers will be featured from local breweries as well as from around the UK. A large variety of ales will feature to suit the season, but fear not there will still be a fine selection of the regular favourites on offer.
120 cask ales, craft beer bar, an extended range of ciders and a brand new addition of wines and gins! There will be a full line up of fantastic live music across all three sessions as well as food favourites and pub games. Music line-up coming soon.
Tickets are priced at £11 (+ booking fees) per person, per session. The ticket includes a souvenir glass, a programme & a beer plus a full line up of live entertainment.

7.45pm - 8.30pm YEEHAA GRANMA
Yeeka Granma play bluegrass music with a skiffle band style with Pogues, New Orleans Jazz and Blues and Johnny Cash influences. Featuring wash tub bass, banjo, washboard, guitar, banjolele, flute, mandolin and harmonicas.
8.45pm - 9.30pm RUBY AND THE REVELATORS
RUBY & THE REVELATORS are a five piece soul & blues band based in Sussex. They have appeared at many high profile blues festivals in the UK. They are renowned for their scintillating stage performances, and described by Blues Matters as a ‘must see live act on the British Blues Scene’. Their repertoire takes you from sassy Stax era soul to Northern Soul to rocking rhythm and blues.
9.45pm - 10.45pm KOJAKS REVENGE
Kojaks are the perfect party band for any occasion or event – from your favourite sixties beat combos, through Glam, Punk, Rock, Pop, New Wave, Ska, Funk and Britpop, right up to today’s cutting edge sounds. Kojak’s Revenge pride themselves on their stage show, which has been described in turns as breathtaking, electric, frenetic, edgy and spellbinding.

12.45pm - 1.30pm DEAN DYSON
Dean Dyson can be found busking on the streets of Guildford, It's cold out there and definitely the most challenging time of year to play the streets but knowing that the combined views of just 2 of his two videos have been watched by over 6 million people can somehow keep you wonderfully warm inside!.
1.45pm - 2.30pm MANTIC MUDDLERS
The Mantic Muddlers are a Roots, Rythm & Blues band from Petersfield, Hampshire who combine a rich influence of sonic styles with a passion for performing and delivering their craft. These styles, alongside a penchant for pushing the boundaries of song craft, have shaped the Muddlers' sound into a barrage of infectious grooves and melodies, where heartfelt songs are put forth with instruments like the thunderous Double Bass, the searing Violin and the cry of the slide guitar, all enriched with soulful vocal harmonies to finish.
2.45pm - 3.45pm TIDDLEY KINKS
The are the latest on the tribute scene dedicating their set to the hits of Ray Davies & his quintessentially English rock band the KINKS and with hits like "You Really Got Me" "All Day and All of the Night" "Tired of Waiting for You" Dedicated Follower of Fashion" "Sunny Afternoon" "Waterloo Sunset" "Lola" "Apeman" we are in for an absolute treat.
4,00pm - 4.45pm TOO MUCH 2TONE
Most of the bands considered to be part of the 2 Tone genre were signed to 2 Tone Records at some point. Other record labels associated with the 2 Tone sound were Stiff Records and Go Feet Records. The music was especially popular amonge mod revivalists. Too much 2Tone play all your favourite 2Tone era tunes from The Specials, The Selecter, Bad Manners, Madness, The Beat and others and will get you skanking for sure.

Saturday 13th May 6.00pm - 11.00pm
6.45pm - 7.30pm DEVIN JADE
Devin Jade from Portsmouth recently made it to the live shows on "The Voice" having been selected from over 50,000 applicants and although the show was not aired, Devin gained valuable contacts for the future and now has will.i.am and Jamie Lawson amongst others following her social media as she continues to go from strength to strength.
7.45pm - 8.30pm TOM BERTRAM
Tom Bertram is a singer-songwriter from Portsmouth, UK. After suffering a heart attack, Tom had a pacemaker inserted at age 17. Tom has stated he suffered severe anxiety attacks after the attack and turned to music to help him cope with the anxiety. He then started to write his own music. Tom has been Number 1 in the Reverb Nation UK Charts. Number 1 in the Unsigned Top Charts and and his fanbase is growing daily with over 200,000 followers on Facebook and Twitter alone.
8.45pm - 9.30pm FM LIVE (Live lounge project)
FM Live previously know as The Live Lounge Project bring you the best performances of chart topping hits live to your event. They are five world class musicians whose career has already seen them work with the likes of Chase & Status, Jessie J, Boy George, Eva Cassidy, Mel B, Liam Bailey and have performed at The Royal Albert Hall, Glastonbury Festival, T In The Park, V Festival and the original Live Lounge venue itself.
9.45pm - 10.45pm SILVER BEATLES
The south coast’s premier Beatles tribute act make a return at the Portsmouth Beer Festival with ia full repertoire of the fab four’s back catalogue from the early later days, you’ll be swaying to the chorus of Hey Jude by the end we can guarantee. In fact, we demand it!
